This is a big month for the memory of Bob Marley – his birthday and release of the much anticipated biopic movie on Feb 14.
No musician on his own has come to define a genre like Bob Marley. He graced this world with unbridled enthusiasm and musicianship – influencing legions of other musicians, many carrying the Marley name. His impact extended beyond bringing reggae to a global stage, and even extended beyond music – he was a champion of peace, love and good vibrations…and so we host another GVO session in honor of the late great Bob Marley. This won’t be an exclusive Bob Marley afternoon, but rather a celebration of music, a man, and the power of his voice/reach – certainly with a “bent” towards his own works.
Per standard format, vinyl archivists Tim Torrential and WolfBain will alternate 20-30 minute segments across reggae and classic rock – taking requests when possible and serving up the Good Vibrations Only. Join us!
